From Seattle: A two hour drive using either the Seattle-Bainbridge Island ferry from downtown Seattle or driving south through Tacoma. It is 57 miles by ferry and car or 106 miles via Tacoma.
From Tacoma: A 90 minute, 75 mile drive. Travel starts on Hwy 16 and goes over the Tacoma Narrows Bridge. There is a $5.25 bridge toll traveling back to Tacoma from Kala Point.
From Canada: Travel time from Vancouver, B,C is 3-1/2 hours. The Route takes you through scenic Deception Pass, Oak Harbor and Coupeville on Whidbey Island. A half-hour ferry ride takes you right into historic downtown Port Townsend. (reservations highly recommended)
